Yad Leah is a Nevada nonprofit organization committed to providing compassionate, assistance and support to Jewish individuals and families experiencing hardship.
Guided by Jewish values of chesed (loving-kindness), Yad Leah partners with the community to promote stability, dignity, and hope.
Our Purpose
Yad Leah is organized exclusively for charitable and religious purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the “Code”).
The Corporation’s mission is to extend a helping hand to Jewish individuals and families in need by providing essential resources, financial support, and compassionate care to help them regain stability, dignity, and hope.
In keeping with Jewish values and traditions of chesed (loving-kindness), Yad Leah seeks to:
- Provide relief of the poor, distressed, or underprivileged, with a primary focus on members of the Jewish community.
- Support stability through rental assistance, utility support, food programs, and provision of essential needs such as clothing, diapers, and hygiene items.
- Collaborate with community and religious organizations to address the needs of individuals and families facing hardship.
The Corporation will not participate in political campaigns or substantial lobbying, in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) restrictions.
Religious Affiliation and Non-Discrimination
Yad Leah affirms its Jewish identity and heritage as central to its mission and activities.
The Corporation will conduct its charitable work in accordance with Jewish principles, ensuring cultural sensitivity and alignment with the traditions of the Jewish community it serves.
While Yad Leah’s primary focus is to serve members of the Jewish community, assistance will not be denied to any person in need who meets the established eligibility criteria for services, and shall not be denied on the basis of religion, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
